OUR HISTORY

BEGINNING OF THE MOVEMENT JUNIOR IN PORTUGAL AND IN EUROPE

The Junior Movement was founded in Paris, in 1967, when the first Junior Enterprise was created. This phenomenon was rapidly expanded in other European countries, which in turn gave rise to several national Federations and to Junior Enterprises Europe.

In Portugal, in 1990, the first Portuguese Junior Enterprise was founded. However, it took until 2012 to JADE Portugal, current JE Portugal, to fulfil the requirements to became a federation.

OUR MISSION

JE Portugal mission consists in making sure the continuous evolution of the Portuguese Junior Enterprises, and promoting the exponencial growth of the number one platform of Portuguese junior associativism. Representing the Portuguese Junior Movement in Portugal, in Europe and in the world, makes it possible to share synergies and best practices.

JE Portugal has the responsibility to represent the Portuguese Junior Enterprises, their integration e support inside the network, enhancing the movement.

_Institucional representation of Junior Enterprises, when is the presence of different stakeholders.
_Encouraging the spirit and education of entrepreneurship, through the promotion of critical and disruptive thinking.
_Development of college students skills.
_Strengthening the Portuguese Junior Movement.
Promotion of synergies between Junior Companies, through the promotion of events.
Monitoring and support for Portuguese Junior Companies.
